EScan Antivirus is one of several antivirus utilities available for your computer, and because the competition from better-known companies such as Symantec and McAfee is so stiff, eScan offers a free trial for its product. However, you might try eScan Antivirus and decide that you prefer your old security software or that you would like to try another product. Uninstall eScan Antivirus from your computer if you have decided to use something else.
Click the Start button or Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the desktop. Click "Control Panel."
Navigate to "Uninstall a Program" or "Programs and Features" if you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista. In Windows XP, navigate to "Add or Remove Programs."
Click "eScan Anti-Virus (AV) Edition for Windows," and then click "Uninstall" or "Remove."
Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to uninstall eScan Antivirus. Note that the uninstallation process for eScan Antivirus may take several minutes on some computers.
Click "OK" when the uninstallation process is complete, and restart your computer. EScan Antivirus has been uninstalled successfully.
